The Crimson

A desperate witch turns a serial killer into a bloodthirsty vampire in Luke Rice's debut novel.

The Crimson

To save her dying soul, a desperate witch must use her powers to turn an evil man into a heinous, bloodthirsty vampire, and unleash him upon the innocent souls of a peaceful New Hampshire town. One hundred years later, in the present, Vincent Renquist still feeds his immortal curse with fresh blood, only now he has set his sights on the unborn child of a pregnant and abandoned mother.

A young, formidable ex-military couple, and the town's police sergeant (who had his own encounter with the monster as a boy), come to Amy's aid, culminating in a violent battle to save this soon-to-be mother and the most innocent of us all, her unborn child.

Born and raised in New England, Luke Rice has crafted chilling tales in horror, thriller, and dark fantasy since his youth.

Now, due to familial pressure, he intends to publish all of his work beginning with The Crimson. He still lives in New England with his wife and many pets.
